Live with an Eye to the Skies and Eye for the Lost

Sunday, November 24, 2024

Watch the livestream beginning at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday. After the livestream is finished, the video will be available to watch at any time.

Welcome! Thank you for joining us for worship today. In our services we gather before our almighty God to receive his gifts and to offer him our worship and praise. Through God’s powerful Word and sacraments he renews our faith and strengthens us to serve in joy.

God reminds us in Scripture to keep our eyes on the prize of heaven that Christ has already won for us. As the Church Year comes to a close, Jesus promises that he will come again to usher in a new and perfect home where we will live with him forever. Knowing what is ahead, we watch and eagerly await that Day of the Lord. God also tells us that on that day believers from all nations will join us in joy. Today we welcome Pastor Larry Schlomer to share news with us from our WELS missions. By God’s grace people around the world, and right here, are putting their trust in Christ. As we live with an eye to the sky, let us also live with an eye for the lost.
