Celebrate a “Mary” Christmas with the women of Salem
This Christmas season, we often hear “Have a Merry Christmas!” But what if we spelled it M-a-r-y instead of M-e-r-r-y? While Christmas is all about Jesus, not Mary, there’s still something we can learn from the Marys in the Bible to enrich our celebration.
Imagine having a “Mary Christmas” by seeking the one thing that truly matters (like Mary of Bethany), treasuring and pondering the truths of Jesus in your heart (like Mary, the mother of Jesus), and remembering the freedom from sin that Christ brings (like Mary Magdalene).
Join us this evening as we explore how the faith of these Marys can prepare our hearts for the true meaning of Christmas. Our prayer is that your holiday season will be filled with time in God’s Word, reflection on His promises, and a renewed motivation to live for Christ.
There will be food, music, devotions and Christian fellowship as we prepare for Christ’s birth.
