Band lessons are available for students in 4th grade and older. Private lessons run 15 or 30 minutes during the school day (some before and after school lessons may be available). In addition to private lessons, students meet to practice as a full band approximately 20-25 times a year. Students showcase their musical knowledge and talents at the annual Spring Concert.
Jubilate Choir
Praise God and learn fun and challenging musical arrangements in the Jubilate Choir. Students in grades 4 and higher are invited to participate in this extra-curricular choir. The choir meets Tuesday afternoons during the school day, and performs publicly throughout the year at various venues.
Piano Lessons*
Piano lessons are open to all students, beginning in pre-school. Students receive a 30-minute weekly lesson during the school day. Lessons are taught with a comprehensive approach to piano instruction covering the basic knowledge of the keyboard, theory of music, the precision of playing piano with correct fingering and expression. Performance opportunities occur throughout the year before Worship services, and at the annual recital.
