The purpose of Salem Lutheran Church is defined by our Savior in Matthew 28:19-20, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teach them to obey everything I have commanded you." Furthermore, as God states through the Apostle Peter, "Be shepherds of God's flock that is under your care." (1 Peter 5:2)
Our mission at Salem is to "Glorify God by teaching His timeless Truth to today's people that, by God's Grace, all may grow in faith and share tomorrow's eternity."
We work hard to provide Christian education to members of our congregation and families in the surrounding communities. The primary effort of all our organizations and our Lutheran Elementary School is to reach out with the Gospel whenever and wherever God provides us an opportunity.
