Our Relationship with God

In years past, Salem has dedicated a weekend and a location offsite for a Marriage Retreat. The Spiritual Growth Committee has a different plan this year, which will allow all of our members to grow in our relationship with God and each other. Starting on Sunday, February 5th, we will begin a four week focus on relationships.

• Feb. 5th—Our Relationship with God: Finding Confidence in the Love of our Father
• Feb. 12th—Our Relationship with God: The Single Life—Devoted to the Lord In Body and Spirit
• Feb. 19th—The Married Life: An Earthly Picture of a Heavenly Commitment
• Feb. 26th—Family Life: Rejoicing in Reconciliation

Each week we will see what God says about his love for us, his love for unmarried individuals, for husbands and wives, and for families. We will also learn how we can support God’s gift of relationships no matter where we are in our lives. On Saturday, March 3rd, we will hold a special event for married couples. We’d like to invite you to renew your wedding vows at Salem, and then celebrate the blessings God has given you as husband and wife with dinner and a dance. Invitations will be sent out soon. We will be accepting early registration for the dinner and dance beginning Sunday, January 29th.
