Confirmation is provided for youth in the 8th grade and older as well as adults. Study of the Christian faith precedes confirmation. Salem School students get this instruction during the school day. Others attend classes after school. Please contact the church office or Pastor for more information.

If the Lord has called a loved one to eternal rest, we share in your grief. The Pastor will meet with the family as soon as he is contacted. Please contact him at the church if during daytime hours or feel free to contact him at home.
Salem owns and cares for a cemetery a few blocks west of the church. If you are interested in reserving a personal or family burial plot, please contact the church office.
The Salem facilities include a fellowship room that seats about 150 people, a new kitchen facility and a large family center or gymnasium. These areas are used for church dinners and celebrations and also for funeral lunches, wedding receptions and wedding anniversaries to name a few. These facilities are available to the members and their families at a nominal fee.
The Pastors and staff make home visits to those who cannot get out to Salem services, please contact the church office if you or someone you know desire a visit. Pastor will bring communion to you also. Video tapes of the Sunday Services are available and can be delivered to you upon request. The services are also available on Cable TV Channel 22, see the News & Events page for a current TV schedule.
The Pastors and staff make hospital visits when notified of a hospitalization, please contact the church office if you know of such a need. Please note that because of privacy concerns, hospitals do not contact Pastors nor share information with the church, so you must call to request a visit.
Placing flowers on the altar is a fitting way to remember a loved one called to eternity or to commemorate a special event, please contact the church office if you would like to provide flowers for the altar.
Salem's pastors are available for private, confidential counseling in light of God’s Word. Please contact any of the pastors or the church office at (651) 439-5465 to schedule an appointment.

Intercessory prayers of Joy, Thanksgiving and/or Concern are brought to God by a group of concerned and praying members referred to as the prayer chain. Please contact the church office or S. Galler if you wish to have the prayer chain intercede before God on your behalf.
A scholarship fund is available to help students. To determine if you or your children are eligible for scholarship assistance, please contact the church office. If you wish to give a gift to this fund, please indicate your desire with the gift and/or contact the church office for more information.
